A process for producing paraformaldehyde with a 50% concentration of formaldehyde, which includes the following steps:
First effect rising film evaporation:
The 50% concentration formaldehyde is sequentially introduced into a rising film evaporator and a vapor-liquid separator, where the 50% concentration formaldehyde is concentrated to 60% in the rising film evaporator, and the 60% concentration formaldehyde solution is purely separated from formaldehyde vapor in the vapor-liquid separator; the 60% concentration formaldehyde is pumped to a scraped surface evaporator;
The vapor generated in the vapor-liquid separator is absorbed through a first effect absorption tower, cooled through a condenser to obtain a formaldehyde solution with a certain concentration, and stored in a dilute formaldehyde storage tank;
Second effect scraped surface evaporation:
The concentrated 60% formaldehyde solution is sent from the vapor separator to a scraped surface evaporator for secondary concentration, where the scraped surface evaporator concentrates the formaldehyde solution to a concentration of 70%;
The vapor from the scraped surface evaporator enters the second effect absorption tower for absorption, and is cooled through the condenser to obtain a formaldehyde solution with a concentration of 28-32%, which is then stored in the dilute formaldehyde storage tank;
Insulated storage:
The concentrated 70% formaldehyde solution after the scraped surface evaporator is immediately collected in a collector and pumped to an intermediate storage tank, where the intermediate storage tank is heated to maintain the 70% formaldehyde solution at 70°C, while continuously stirring the 70% concentration formaldehyde solution;
Drying and curing:
The 70% concentration formaldehyde solution is sent from the intermediate storage tank to a rake dryer, where the concentrated formaldehyde solution from the evaporation section enters the rake dryer, allowing the moisture in the formaldehyde solution to further evaporate until it solidifies to form paraformaldehyde;
